“Media shares one purpose: to create worlds we’re invited to step into.”

-Uzezi Elizabeth

Mode Theory is a space for thoughtful commentary on the role fashion and visual aesthetics play in shaping modern media. I’m currently available for consulting engagements.

I’m Uzezi Elizabeth,

I’m the writer behind Mode Theory, where I explore the relationship between fashion, media, and visual storytelling. With a background in English Literature and Film, I’m interested in how design, style, and narrative shape the visual worlds we see across film, television, and the fashion industry.

I’m currently building a Substack newsletter where I’ll share longer essays and commentary on fashion and contemporary media.

My work explores the relationship between fashion, media and visual storytelling, with a focus on how aesthetics, design, and narrative shape the cultural worlds we encounter across film television and fashion. Through Mode Theory, I analyse the ideas, visuals, and creative decisions that define contemporary media.
